Fun for all ages

Children’s activities will be held on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10:00am until 2:00pm.

Children’s Library will be open all three days with Bardic Story hour 11:00am until 12:00pm.

Please remember that all children must be signed into activities. Parents must stay with children who are participating. Any questions please contact Katherine of the Doves.

Children's Activities


10am Pool Noodle Ponies and Races
Bring a pool noodle to transform into a magnificent steed. We will provide the supplies for the transformation. Once completed we will then hold pony races to see how fast our ponies can run.

11am Trebuchet
Come build a trebuchet in preparation of war. We will use popsicle sticks and spoons. Once finished we will launch beans to see how far they will go.

12pm Friendship Bracelets
Make a bracelet to give to your favorite person, or as a favor.

1pm Bows and Arrows
Try your hand at making a popsicle stick bow and Q-tip arrows.


10am Wooden Shields
During this make and take, you will make a wooden shield. Cost $5.00 for materials.

11am Butter
Come shake your little body as we make fresh butter. We will then taste test our butter on slices of fresh bread. Cost $3.00.

12pm Cheese
Have you ever wanted to learn how to make cheese. Then this is the class for you. This hands on class will demonstrate how to make cheese. Cost $3.00

1am Bling String
Make a Viking bead string. Beads and charms will be provided.

3:30-5pm Trick or Treat
It is up to the parents to take the children to the various different camps. Camps will provide their own candy for the children. Children are not allowed to trick or treat in groups without an adult.


10am Felted Soap
Participants will make and take soap. Be prepared to get messy.

11am Nine Man Morris
Participants will make a Nine Man Morris Board. Once game boards are made, we will learn and play the game.

12pm Hunker Hausen
Participants will learn how to play the period game.

1pm Beat the Kettle, Heraldic Twister and other period games.
